  If you don't already have plans to support a charity for the LA Marathon, please consider supporting The Sunshine Kids (SSK) organization.  SSK is a wonderful nonprofit dedicated to children with cancer. They provide a variety of programs and events (group trips/activities, emotional support), free of charge, for kids receiving cancer treatments.  This year, they were lucky enough to be added to the marathon charity list but if they are to remain there, they need the public's help.

Supporting SSK is as simple as selecting their name from the charity drop down menu during registration.
 

 
Easy, right?  You do NOT have to commit yourself to raise a dime, or anything more that simply selecting them to benefit; the indication itself is tremendously helpful to them.

If not, please consider at least supporting them.  I am fundraising and running for them and trying to spread the word about selecting them.
 
If you've already registered for the marathon, you can still help!  Just let me know your registered name, and SSK will contact LA Marathon organizers to indicate your support.
